The Arab Union for Combating Forgery and Counterfeiting is a specialized Arab entity operating under the umbrella of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, affiliated with the League of Arab States. The Union plays a pivotal role in conducting studies, scientific publishing, and providing consultancy on forgery and counterfeiting cases, in their broad and specialized sense, for both the public and private sectors. Despite this institutional depth and pan-Arab scope, the Union lacked a digital platform that introduced it, showcased its vision and mission, and allowed entities and individuals to access its advisory and scientific services. Without a website, the Union remained invisible to many of those concerned with combating these crimes at both the Arab and international levels.
